I am the son of a passionate, visceral land, rich in warmth and vitality. I am a son of Sicily, of Catania, of its sea and of its volcano that spews fire and ash. I am Nino Branchina. I love art in all its forms, and writing above all, because it opens horizons that the imagination then paints with color, through letters and shapes. I love life, and I love people. I practice medicine out of deep conviction: the whole world belongs to us, and other people are an integral part of it. In my writing, imagination guides me along paths that are never without purpose.
